In a shocking twist, No. 1-ranked Penn State University and their renowned wrestling coach, Cael Sanderson, have lost out on the nation\u2019s top wrestling recruit for the class of 2026. Despite being widely considered the frontrunner, the Nittany Lions were blindsided as the highly-touted high school prospect, *Tyler McKenzie*, announced his commitment to rival Oklahoma State University.<\/p>\n

McKenzie, a standout wrestler from Illinois, has dominated his age group with an unmatched combination of strength, technique, and wrestling IQ.
