Kellie Harper, a former standout player for the Tennessee Lady Volunteers and three-time national champion under coach Pat Summitt, has been appointed as the head coach of the University of Missouri’s women’s basketball team. This marks a significant move within the Southeastern Conference (SEC), as Harper brings a wealth of experience both as a player and a coach.<\/p>\n

Harper’s coaching career spans over two decades, during which she has led programs at Western Carolina, North Carolina State, Missouri State, and most recently, her alma mater, Tennessee. At Tennessee, she guided the Lady Vols to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including back-to-back Sweet 16 berths in 2022 and 2023. Her tenure there concluded after the 2023 season.<\/p>\n
