(March 28, 2025) – The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) announced today that Steve Phelps, the esteemed president of NASCAR, will be retiring from his role, marking the end of an impactful era in motorsports. Phelps, who has been a driving force behind the sport\u2019s growth and modernization, leaves behind a legacy defined by innovation, inclusivity, and a commitment to fans.<\/p>\n
