Raegan Beers, a 6-foot-4 center from Littleton, Colorado, has made significant strides in her basketball career since transferring to the University of Oklahoma from Oregon State. During her tenure at Oregon State, Beers earned All-America honors and was recognized as the top player in the transfer portal by The Athletic. At Oklahoma, she has continued to excel, leading the Sooners in scoring (17.5 points per game), rebounding (8.9 rebounds per game), and blocks (1.1 blocks per game).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Beers’ outstanding performances have garnered multiple accolades. She was named the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Player of the Week twice, marking the 10th weekly honor of her collegiate career. Notably, she became the first Sooner since 2007 to record back-to-back 30-point games, achieving this feat with remarkable efficiency by shooting over 85% from the field during that span.<\/p>\n

In addition to conference honors, Beers received national recognition as the Naismith Trophy National Player of the Week. Her consistent high-level play has also earned her spots on the midseason watch lists for prestigious awards, including the Naismith Trophy, Wade Trophy, Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Year award, and the Wooden Award. Furthermore, she is a finalist for the Lisa Leslie Center of the Year award.<\/p>\n

Beers’ impact has been instrumental in Oklahoma’s successful season, with the team achieving a 21-6 record and a No. 13 ranking in the AP Top 25 poll. Her leadership and performance continue to drive the Sooners as they navigate the competitive landscape of women’s college basketball.<\/p>\n\n
