Brian Kelly Delivers Poignant Eulogy At Kyren Lacy Funeral…..<\/p>\n

In a moving tribute filled with emotion and reverence, LSU head football coach Brian Kelly delivered a heartfelt eulogy at the funeral of wide receiver Kyren Lacy, whose unexpected passing left the LSU community in mourning. Standing before family, friends, teammates, and fans, Kelly honored Lacy not just as a talented athlete, but as a remarkable young man whose spirit and heart left a lasting impact.\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cKyren was more than just a player,\u201d Kelly said. \u201cHe was a light in our locker room, a brother to his teammates, and a young man who carried himself with humility, passion, and purpose. He worked tirelessly to improve, to uplift those around him, and to make everyone feel seen and valued.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly recalled Lacy\u2019s infectious energy, his unshakable faith, and his ability to bring people together. \u201cWe remember his touchdowns, his hard work, but mostly, we remember how he made us feel\u2014respected, encouraged, and loved.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded by urging those in attendance to carry on Kyren\u2019s legacy. \u201cLet us honor Kyren by living with the same kindness and courage he showed every day. Though we grieve, we also give thanks\u2014for the gift of knowing him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
