His decision marks a significant win for Kentucky&#8217;s head coach Mark Pope, who secured a commitment from one of the nation&#8217;s top prospects without any pre-existing ties to the university. During his junior season at Sidwell Friends School, he averaged 14.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, earning Gatorade District of Columbia Boys Basketball Player of the Year honors. On the Nike EYBL circuit with Team Durant, Lewis impressed with averages of 16.7 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game.
