With the team floundering in attack and consistency, Hunt revealed that confidence is low and combinations simply aren\u2019t clicking. \u201cWe\u2019re trying hard, but at this level, effort\u2019s not always enough,\u201d Hunt said. \u201cIt\u2019s about execution, and right now, we\u2019re off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adding fuel to the fire, Parramatta Eels captain Clint Gutherson didn\u2019t hold back when asked about the Dragons&#8217; situation. \u201cWe\u2019re not here to babysit anyone,\u201d he told reporters. \u201cIf you&#8217;re in the NRL, you\u2019ve got to own your role\u2014especially in the halves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dragons coach Shane Flanagan has publicly defended his playmakers in recent weeks, urging patience with the young spine. But the pressure is undeniable, especially with the team stuck near the bottom of the ladder and fan frustration growing.<\/p>\n<p>The next few rounds could prove decisive, as the Dragons face top-tier opposition.
