In a landmark move, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are preparing to lock in club legend Daly Cherry-Evans on a permanent contract that will keep him at Brookvale until retirement. The new deal, reportedly structured to extend beyond 2025 and transition into an off-field role, cements Cherry-Evans as a one-club player and one of the most loyal figures in NRL history.<\/p>\n

*\u201cI will be here forever,\u201d* Cherry-Evans declared. *\u201cThis club gave me everything\u2014my debut, my development, and my identity as a player. I\u2019ve always said I wanted to finish my career at Manly, and now that\u2019s becoming reality.\u201d*<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old has been a cornerstone of the Sea Eagles since his debut in 2011, leading the side to a premiership in his rookie year and becoming a mainstay in both Queensland’s State of Origin team and the Australian Kangaroos.<\/p>\n
