Kelly Krauskopf, president of the Indiana Fever, reportedly deleted her X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday, July 11 or 12, 2025, after intense backlash over remarks she made comparing the team\u2019s desired brand to Apple, and referring to Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston as \u201cfoundational players.\u201d Many fans interpreted this as minimizing Caitlin Clark\u2019s central role in the franchise .<\/p>\n

The backlash centered around fans emphasizing that Caitlin Clark is the major driver of the Fever\u2019s recent popularity, with comments like \u201c(95%) of your \u2018Brand\u2019 is Caitlin Clark\u201d and *\u201cCaitlin goes and so does 80% of the Fever fanbase!!\u201d* .<\/p>\n

Following the release and viral spread of the video excerpt and comments, Krauskopf\u2019s account\u2014with handle @k2indytex\u2014was found to be deactivated.
