No blockout. We booked the hotel, bought Genie+ in advance \u2014 and then, boom, we\u2019re locked out,\u201d said Amanda Rivera, a Magic Key holder from Arizona, in tears with her two kids dressed in full Mickey gear. \u201cThis is beyond unfair. This is betrayal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sources inside the park allege that a <strong>&#8220;technical glitch&#8221; in the crowd control system<\/strong> triggered an automated blockout expansion due to projected overcapacity \u2014 but Disney has yet to make an official statement.<\/p>\n<p>Even more shocking, several Key holders reported that they <strong>successfully scanned into the parking structure<\/strong>, only to be turned away at the entrance turnstiles.<\/p>\n<p>Social media erupted, with #MagicKeyMeltdown and #DisneyDisaster trending globally by midday.
