Confirmed reports show Papali\u2019i was recalled for Game 3 of the 2025 State of Origin series by Maroons coach Billy Slater, coming out of representative retirement for one final appearance.<\/p>\n

It was a shock recall: Papali\u2019i had stepped away from Origin before the 2023 series, making this return two years after his retirement.<\/p>\n
