The Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to strengthen their forward group before the trade deadline, and one trade proposal suggests they could bring back a familiar face.
Using PuckPedia’s PuckGM tool, which allows fans to create hypothetical trades, one user proposed a deal in which the Maple Leafs would reacquire Jared McCann from the Seattle Kraken.

So far this season, McCann has tallied 13 goals and 20 assists, totaling 33 points in 47 games.
The most significant assets in the proposed return for Seattle are the first-round pick and Cowan. Cowan, Toronto’s top prospect, is expected to make the NHL roster next season. He currently plays for the OHL’s London Knights, where he has notched 14 goals and 16 assists, totaling
31 points in 23 games.
