“First and foremost, I want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love and for blessing me with the talent and perseverance to reach this point in my career. I’m incredibly humbled and grateful to be named National Offensive Freshman of the Year. This award is not just mine—it’s a testament to the amazing support system I have behind me.
To my teammates, thank you for believing in me from day one. Football is a team sport, and every success we’ve had is a result of our collective effort. The chemistry we’ve built on and off the field is something I will always cherish. I also want to express my gratitude to my coaches for pushing me to be my best and helping me grow, not just as a player, but as a person.
I wouldn’t be here without the constant love and encouragement from my family. To my parents, thank you for always having my back and guiding me through every challenge.
Lastly, I dedicate this award to the incredible fans of the Texas Longhorns. Your energy and passion inspire me every day. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait for what’s next. Hook ’em Horns!”
