From the NFC Championship matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders, defensive tackle Milton Williams stands out as a strong option for the Steelers. Williams, who recorded five sacks this season, could bring much-needed youth and pass-rushing ability to Pittsburgh’s aging defensive line. Washington’s cornerback Noah Igbinoghene is another potential target, offering speed and man coverage skills that could upgrade the Steelers’ secondary.

On the AFC side, the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs have intriguing free agents as well. Wide receiver Amari Cooper, despite a quiet stint in Buffalo, remains a proven veteran with back-to-back 1,200-yard seasons before his trade. Adding him alongside George Pickens could provide a solid receiving duo for the Steelers. Chiefs’ guard Trey Smith, coming off a Pro Bowl year, is another option, although his high market value might be a hurdle.

As the Steelers gear up for the offseason, these free agents could be key pieces to push the team back into playoff conten
