“Shocking Allegations: Former Wisconsin Basketball Star Accuses Coach of Mistreatment….

The University of Wisconsin has issued a statement addressing allegations made by former women’s basketball player Tessa Towers. Towers, originally from Batavia, Illinois, accused head coach Marisa Moseley and her coaching staff of mistreatment during her time at the university. Towers shared her claims in a TikTok post, stating that her freshman year at Wisconsin was “completely ruined.”

 

In the statement released by Wisconsin’s athletic department, they acknowledged Towers’ accusations and confirmed that an investigation is underway. The university emphasized its commitment to the well-being of its student-athletes and stated that, due to federal privacy laws, they are unable to publicly address the health-related claims made by Towers on social media.

 

Towers alleged that her coach required her to sign a release form to access her therapy sessions, or she would be removed from the team. She also claimed that she was pressured into undergoing autism testing against her will and faced an ultimatum: admit herself to a mental hospital or be kicked off the team.
