Ohio State Buckeyes player arrested in association with shooting outside Kentucky nightclub….

As of now, there are no reports of any Ohio State Buckeyes player being arrested in connection with a shooting outside a Kentucky nightclub. However, there have been notable incidents involving former Ohio State players and shootings in other locations.

In January 2006, Maurice Clarett, a former Ohio State running back, was sought by police for allegedly committing armed robbery outside the Opium Lounge dance club in Columbus, Ohio. Clarett reportedly robbed two individuals at gunpoint before fleeing in an SUV. He later surrendered to authorities and faced multiple charges, including aggravated robbery.

More recently, in June 2024, a shooting occurred at the Aura nightclub in downtown Columbus, resulting in the deaths of two security guards, Desmond Taylor and Ceilin Smith. The suspect, 26-year-old Jaquez Hoover, was arrested after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Hoover had been evading authorities since the incident.

While these incidents are related to Ohio State and its former players, there is no current information linking any Ohio State Buckeyes player to a shooting outside a Kentucky nightclub.
