In a remarkable display of power hitting, Tennessee’s junior utility player, Dalton Bargo, achieved a rare feat by belting two home runs in a single inning during the Volunteers’ commanding 29-4 victory over UNC Asheville on February 18, 2025, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. This offensive explosion matched the highest run total for Tennessee in the Tony Vitello era, equaling the 29 runs scored against Iona on February 26, 2022.
