BREAKING NEWS – Former Missouri Tigers offensive tackle Armand Membou, widely regarded as one of the program’s all-time greats, is returning to Columbia in a new role. The university announced today that Membou will be joining the Tigers’ football staff as an offensive line assistant, marking a new chapter in his storied connection with the program.

Membou, known for his leadership and tenacity on the field, earned multiple All-SEC honors during his time with the Tigers and played a pivotal role in some of the team’s most successful seasons. Since graduating, he remained active in football circles, including a brief stint in professional leagues and coaching clinics.

 

“We are thrilled to welcome Armand back home,” said head coach Eli Drinkwitz. “He embodies the Mizzou spirit, and his experience will be invaluable to our players both on and off the field.”

 

Membou expressed gratitude for the opportunity, saying, “Columbia has always been home. I’m excited to help shape the next generation of Tigers.”
