COLUMBIA, MO – Armand Membou, one of the most revered offensive linemen in Missouri Tigers football history, is making a triumphant return to the program — this time, not in pads, but in a leadership role off the field. Membou has been named the new Director of Player Development, a position that will allow him to mentor current student-athletes and help them navigate life both on and off the field.

Known for his toughness, leadership, and relentless work ethic during his collegiate career, Membou was instrumental in building Missouri’s offensive line into a dominant force. After a brief stint pursuing professional opportunities, he remained close to the game, eventually finding his passion in mentoring young athletes.
“Columbia has always been home,” Membou said in a statement. “I’m honored to give back to the program that gave me so much and to help shape the next generation of Tigers.”
His return marks a full-circle moment and is already energizing fans and players alike.
