Baylor head coach Dave Aranda recently addressed the media following the conclusion of spring football practices, offering insights into the team’s progress and transfer portal strategy.

He highlighted the defense’s adaptability, particularly the hybrid 3-3-5 scheme, which requires versatility from players in positions like the “JACK” linebacker role. With departures of key players like Garmon Randolph and Steve Linton, the team is focusing on rebuilding depth through both returning players and new transfers.
