ESPN REPORT: Dave Aranda Baylor Bears Head Coach Stuns College Football World, Rejects Jaw-Dropping $7.5 Million OCC Offer from Georgia, Notre Dame to Remain….

In a stunning turn of events, Baylor Bears head coach Dave Aranda has turned down a combined $7.5 million offer reportedly made by powerhouse programs Georgia and Notre Dame to join their staffs as defensive coordinator. The news, first reported by ESPN insiders, has rocked the college football world and solidified Aranda’s commitment to the Baylor program.

Sources close to the negotiations revealed that both Georgia and Notre Dame were prepared to make Aranda one of the highest-paid coordinators in the nation. Yet despite the lucrative offer and the opportunity to join perennial College Football Playoff contenders, Aranda declined—citing loyalty, unfinished business in Waco, and a desire to continue building a sustainable legacy at Baylor.

“Money isn’t everything,” Aranda reportedly told Baylor officials in a closed-door meeting. “We’ve built something special here. I’m not leaving that behind.”

Aranda’s decision is a major win for Baylor and a rare show of loyalty in an era defined by high-dollar coaching moves. His continued presence is expected to energize the program heading into the upcoming season.
