Former Penn State wide receiver Julian Fleming, who recently signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent, has reportedly failed his physical examination with the team. This development casts uncertainty over his immediate future in the NFL.
Fleming, once a five-star recruit and the top-ranked wide receiver in the 2020 class, began his collegiate career at Ohio State before transferring to Penn State for the 2024 season. Despite high expectations, his college career was marked by limited production, culminating in a single season at Penn State where he recorded 14 receptions for 176 yards and one touchdown.
After going undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft, Fleming signed with the Packers. However, reports indicate that he failed his physical upon arrival in Green Bay. Consequently, he was not listed among the participants for the Packers’ rookie minicamp.
