No.1 player in America commits to Kentucky over Tennessee, Duke and Georgia…..

Acaden Lewis, a 6-foot-2 point guard from Washington, D.C., has committed to the University of Kentucky, choosing the Wildcats over prestigious programs like Duke, UConn, and North Carolina. His decision marks a significant win for Kentucky’s head coach Mark Pope, who secured a commitment from one of the nation’s top prospects without any pre-existing ties to the university. Lewis is a consensus four-star recruit, ranked No. 32 nationally by 247Sports and No. 5 among point guards. During his junior season at Sidwell Friends School, he averaged 14.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, earning Gatorade District of Columbia Boys Basketball Player of the Year honors.
