Good News: Christopher Bell wins All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro…
Christopher Bell clinched his first NASCAR All-Star Race victory on May 18, 2025, at North Wilkesboro Speedway, securing a $1 million prize in a thrilling finish.

Driving the No. 20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, Bell executed a strategic two-tire pit stop during a late-race “Promoter’s Caution” on Lap 217. This move allowed him to restart sixth, and within five laps, he advanced to second place. With nine laps remaining, Bell overtook Joey Logano by diving underneath him in Turn 2 and sliding up the track in Turn 3, nudging Logano toward the wall to seize the lead. Bell maintained his position to win by 0.829 seconds .
The race featured a record 18 lead changes, surpassing the previous All-Star Race record of 13. Logano led a race-high 139 laps but expressed frustration over the timing of the “Promoter’s Caution,” which he felt compromised his strategy .
The top five finishers were:
1. Christopher Bell
2. Joey Logano
3. Ross Chastain
4. Alex Bowman
5. Chase Elliott
Bell’s victory marks Joe Gibbs Racing’s first All-Star Race win since 2017 and adds to his impressive season, which includes three consecutive Cup Series wins earlier this year .
