According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the one factor that could extend LeBron James’s career beyond the next two years is the opportunity to play alongside his younger son, Bryce James. While LeBron has already achieved the rare feat of sharing the court with his eldest son, Bronny James, he has expressed a desire to possibly do the same with Bryce. Bryce is expected to be eligible for the NBA Draft in 2026, and this potential milestone could motivate LeBron to continue playing until then.

LeBron has been candid about his future, stating, “I’m not going to play that much longer, to be completely honest.” He emphasized the importance of not overstaying his prime, saying, “I’m not going to be the guy who is disrespecting the game because I just wanted to be out on the floor.”
