ESPN BOMBSHELL NEWS: Michigan Wolverines Football Head Coach Sherrone Moore Shocks College Football World, Rejecting $8.8 Million…

There is no credible report indicating that Michigan Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore rejected an $8.8 million offer. In fact, Moore signed a five-year contract with the University of Michigan in January 2024, which began with a $5.5 million salary in his first year and includes annual raises and performance-based bonuses .

Moore’s contract was finalized in September 2024 after he initially operated under a memorandum of understanding . The agreement includes incentives for achievements such as conference championships and College Football Playoff appearances .

In his first season as head coach, Moore led Michigan to an 8–5 record, including notable victories over rivals Michigan State and Ohio State, as well as a postseason win against Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl .

While Moore was implicated in an NCAA investigation related to a sign-stealing scandal, his contract stipulates that he cannot be fired for cause based on violations the university was already aware of before the agreement was signed .

Therefore, any claims suggesting that Moore rejected an $8.8 million offer are unfounded. He remains committed to leading the Wolverines and building upon the program’s recent successes.
