Abbotsford Canucks take commanding 2-0 lead with big help from defence men..

The Abbotsford Canucks have surged to a dominant 2-0 lead in their playoff series, thanks in large part to the stellar play of their blueliners. In back-to-back wins, Abbotsford’s defence has not only shut down the opposition’s top scorers but also chipped in offensively.

Veteran defenceman Christian Wolanin led the charge in Game 2 with a goal and two assists, while Akito Hirose and Jett Woo made their presence felt at both ends of the ice. The Canucks limited scoring chances, blocked key shots, and provided strong puck movement to spark the transition game.

Head coach Jeremy Colliton praised his defensive corps, noting their composure and versatility under pressure. With momentum firmly on their side, the Canucks head into Game 3 looking to complete the sweep and advance further in the postseason.
