However, those deliberations in March mainly centered on the 2025 event. The talks around 2026 are still preliminary. Country-wide promoters (like Mexico City GP and OCESA) have expressed interest in hosting IndyCar in 2026, but there’s been no formal announcement from NASCAR about a Mexico Cup race that year .
