TRENDING NEWS: “I Will Leave For Him To Play” LSU Tigers Star Confirm He Will Leave If he Return…..

Lamar Brown is the top high school football prospect in the state of Louisiana for the 2026 recruiting class. Considered an athlete for his ability to play both offensive and defensive line, he’ll present massive upside to the school that lands his commitment.

Brown is currently going through the process of official visits before making his pledge on July 10th. He’ll be at LSU this weekend, though there was initially some doubt as to whether or not he’d make it to campus.

The Tigers are the hometown program. Brown plays his high school ball minutes down the road in Baton Rouge. LSU has been the favorite to land his commitment since Day 1, but others are making things more difficult.

Back in April, the five-prospect scheduled his visits. On the books were USC, Florida State, and Texas A&M as well as the Tigers.

LSU got the luxury of being the last visit, which is often a good sign in terms of commitment success. The program will have the chance to leave a lasting impression just before the lineman makes his decision.

On Sunday, however, noise about a cancelled trip was heard on social media. It was being reported that Lamar Brown had changed his mind on his official visit.
