Liverpool defender attracting Wrexham transfer interest….

Wrexham are reported to be closing in on a deal for Liverpool left-back Owen Beck (22), likely on a season-long loan, as they prepare for their Championship debut under the financial backing of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney .

A Liverpool academy graduate, Beck has gained valuable experience from loan spells at Dundee and Blackburn Rovers, earning 24 appearances and 1 goal in the Championship last season .

His ties to the local region (he’ll turn 23 in August) make a move to North Wales personally appealing .

Liverpool are reportedly open to loaning him out, particularly if he signs a contract extension first, safeguarding his future market value .

Rangers are also expressing interest, reportedly exploring a permanent transfer, which could complicate Wrexham’s plans .

Liverpool manager Arne Slot may choose to evaluate Beck during pre‑season before finalizing any move .

Outlook: If the loan goes ahead, Beck would strengthen Wrexham’s left side with Championship‑ready depth. For Liverpool, it’s a strategic way to develop a homegrown talent while retaining control through a contract extension.
