‘We need actions, not words’: Records tumble in heartbreaking Raiders defeat….

Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart didn’t hold back after his team’s crushing 44-16 defeat, calling for accountability and action rather than empty promises. “We need actions, not words,” he said post-match, visibly emotional. The loss saw records tumble for all the wrong reasons — Canberra conceded its highest score at home in five years and recorded its lowest completion rate of the season.

Despite an early try from Jordan Rapana, the Raiders were overwhelmed by a ruthless attacking display from the opposition. Defensive lapses and ill-discipline proved costly. Veteran leaders were left dejected, while Stuart hinted changes could be coming. “Some players aren’t meeting standards,” he said bluntly.
