Blues Origin winger Ronaldo Mulitalo put on a clinic with four tries as the Cronulla Sharks steamrolled the Canberra Raiders 44-12 in a dominant performance at PointsBet Stadium.
The Sharks jumped out of the blocks early, slicing through a brittle Raiders defence that offered little resistance. Mulitalo, fresh off his Origin debut, showed blistering speed and aerial skill to notch a career-best haul, while Nicho Hynes pulled the strings superbly from halfback.
Canberra looked lost without key playmakers and struggled for direction, committing costly errors and falling off tackles. The Sharks ran in eight tries in total, with Sione Katoa and Will Kennedy also getting on the scoresheet.
The win cements Cronulla’s place in the top four and sends a strong warning to their rivals, while the Raiders face serious questions after a third heavy loss in four games.
