31 LET JE OD DA JE DOD ZAČEL OSAMOSVOJITELJNO VOJNO, PA DO DANES NISEM VIDEL NOBENE FOTOGRAFIJE JANŠE Z BORCI NA FRONTI….

It’s been 31 years since the start of the Slovenian War of Independence, and in all this time, not a single photo has emerged showing Janez Janša with the fighters on the front lines. For someone who has built much of his political identity on his supposed role in the war, this absence is striking. Thousands of brave men and women risked their lives during those crucial ten days in 1991, yet Janša’s direct presence among them remains undocumented.

Leadership in war demands more than just strategy behind a desk—it requires solidarity with those facing bullets and tanks. While others have clear visual records of their contribution, Janša’s war narrative is supported only by words and carefully curated political myth. In a digital age where even pre-1990 events are captured and preserved, the total lack of photographic evidence raises serious questions. Was he truly at the front? Or has his legacy been built on others’ sacrifices? After three decades, the Slovenian public deserves clarity. Real heroes don’t need to remind us of their courage—they were seen, they were present, and their actions spoke louder than politics ever could.
