Borussia Dortmund are reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign up to four fringe Chelsea players before the close of the summer transfer window.
LThe standout candidate is Carney Chukwuemeka, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Dortmund. While talks initially centered around another loan, Dortmund are now pushing for a permanent deal—with Chelsea reportedly asking around £22 million. Both clubs appear keen to reach an agreement soon.
Beyond Chukwuemeka, Dortmund are eyeing Tyrique George, Chelsea’s promising academy graduate, who reportedly desires regular first-team football and has garnered interest owing to his potential and position.
On the defensive side, Renato Veiga and Axel Disasi have also emerged as potential targets. Veiga, who previously had a loan stint at Juventus, is gaining renewed attention amid defensive injury concerns at Dortmund; Disasi, currently not in Maresca’s plans, is similarly on their radar.
Should all four transfers proceed as discussed, the total package could cost Chelsea between £100–110 million—though staggered deals or buy obligations may ease Dortmund’s financial bu
