Ohio State head coach Ryan Day has announced the return of star running back TreVeyon Henderson for the upcoming game against Wisconsin. Henderson, who has been sidelined for the past three games due to an undisclosed injury, is set to be “full go” for Saturday’s matchup, as stated by Day during his radio show.

 

Henderson’s absence was felt in recent games, despite the Buckeyes’ continued success. His last appearance was on September 23 against Notre Dame, where he rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown. Throughout his career, Henderson has been a pivotal player for Ohio State, especially notable during his freshman year in 2021 when he amassed 1,248 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.

 

The Buckeyes have faced challenges in their running game this season, ranking 99th nationally in rushing yards per game. The return of Henderson is anticipated to bolster the team’s offensive dynamics as they prepare to face Wisconsin.
