A day after finishing 2nd in All-Star Race, Joey Logano takes back critical comments of how Christopher Bell raced him for the win.

A day after finishing second in the NASCAR All-Star Race, Joey Logano walked back his critical comments about Christopher Bell’s aggressive move that ultimately secured Bell the victory. Initially frustrated in post-race interviews, Logano implied Bell’s late-race tactics were overly aggressive, suggesting they crossed a line of fair competition. However, with time to reflect, Logano took a more measured stance.

“After watching the replay and thinking it over, I can’t really fault him for racing hard for the win,” Logano said Monday. “We’re all out there to win, and he made the move he thought he needed to. That’s racing.”

Logano had dominated much of the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, leading the majority of the laps before Bell’s decisive pass in the closing stages. While the disappointment was still fresh, Logano acknowledged the intensity of short-track racing and the fine line between aggressive and over-the-top.

“In the moment, your emotions get the best of you,” he admitted. “But I’ve been on the other side of that, too.”

The reconciliation of his comments shows the veteran driver’s maturity and understanding of the competitive nature of NASCAR, especially in a no-points exhibition race with a million dollars on t

he line.
