Raiders hold off fast finishing Tigers to make it five in a row…
The Canberra Raiders secured their fifth consecutive NRL victory after edging out the Wests Tigers in a nail-biting finish, triumphing 20-18 at Campbelltown Stadium. Despite dominating for most of the match, the Raiders were forced to dig deep as the Tigers mounted a late surge that nearly snatched the win.

Canberra looked in control early, with tries to Jack Wighton and Jordan Rapana giving them a strong platform. Their defence was resolute, and Jamal Fogarty’s kicking game kept the Tigers on the back foot. By halftime, the Raiders had built a 14-6 lead.
However, the Tigers refused to go quietly. In the final 20 minutes, they found a second wind, capitalising on Raiders’ errors and scoring two quick tries through Jahream Bula and Api Koroisau. Suddenly, the match was on a knife’s edge.
With minutes left, the Tigers pressed hard, but the Raiders’ defence held firm under intense pressure. A critical tackle from Elliott Whitehead in the dying seconds helped seal the win.
The result continues Canberra’s impressive mid-season form, boosting their finals hopes, while the Tigers, despite another spirited performance, were left to rue missed chances as their losing streak continued.
