Manly Sea Eagles forward Chris Patolo lands Super League contract for 2026

 

Huddersfield Giants, beginning in 2026. The deal is reported to be a two-year contract, making him a key offseason signing for the Giants’ recruitment push.

 

Patolo, aged 24, has previously played 27 NRL games during his time at the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, before joining Manly on a train-and-trial arrangement. Though he did not make a first-grade appearance for Manly in 2025, he had a solid showing in the NSW Cup, recording 20 appearances, averaging 92 metres per game, and posting a 96.5 % tackle efficiency.

 

On joining Huddersfield, Patolo expressed his excitement: “The challenge excites me,” he said, adding he’s looking forward to connecting with the fans and contributing at Super League level. Huddersfield’s signing of Patolo comes as the club continues to bolster its forward pack ahead of the 2026 campaign.
