BREAKING: Major Revamp at the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Ahead of 2026 NRL Season
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have begun an extensive overhaul of their football operations and management structure as they prepare for the 2026 National Rugby League season, signalling a fresh chapter for the historic club. The shake-up comes following a challenging 2025 campaign and a change at the very top of the organisation.
At the forefront of the changes is the elevation of Jim Dymock, the veteran assistant coach, who is set to take on an expanded leadership role within the Sea Eagles’ football department. Dymock, a former NRL and State of Origin representative and experienced coach, has been a key figure in Manly’s coaching lineup and will now have a broader influence on the club’s football structures as part of the revamped setup for 2026.
Off the field, the club has also confirmed a significant executive shift with former premiership-winning prop and ex-NRL administrator Jason King appointed as the Sea Eagles’ new Chief Executive Officer. King’s return brings leadership stability following the departure of long-serving CEO Tony Mestrov.
Under the revamped leadership and football operations team, Manly is striving to reset its competitive culture, improve on-field performance and rebuild momentum ahead of the 2026 campaign — all while strengthening pathways between coaching, recruitment and player development.
